The Itinerary

Day 1 - Depart USA to Italy

Day 2 - Arrival Florence
Welcome fare and drinks
Hotel Alba  Florence - 3 nights

Day 3 - Experience Florence like a local on a walking Tour, see the iconic neighborhoods and take in the local atmosphere of Italy Visit the Academia with the Michelangelo’s statue of  David

Day 4 - Free morning -Suggestion visit Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Novella, the most beautiful perfume shop in Florence. Climb to the top of the Duomo for a heart-pounding panorama of Florence that laid out majestically at your feet.
Italian pasta cooking class -     

Day 5 - Train to Cinque Terre - enjoy little town
Hotel Palme in Monterosso Al Mare - 3 nights

Day 6 - 
La via dell'Amore or Trail of Love is a pedestrian path overlooking the sea,   with a length of just over one kilometer, linking the villages of Riomaggiore   and Manarola, Cinque Terre, in Liguria. The trail's name was inspired by    the fact that it provided an easy and private meeting place for young lovers   who lived in the two small towns in the mountainous terrain.

Day 7 - Visiting Vernazza, a small fishing village probably the most characteristic of the Cinque Terre and is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Discover Riomaggiore, visit the Harbor and town. Established in 13th century, the village has a dramatic coastline with the colorful houses. 
It is known for the wine produced from the local vineyards and fresh sea food in the cozy restaurants.

Day 8 - Medieval town of Lucca  - Visit the House of Puccini , wander with no agenda
Hotel San Marco - 2 nights

Day 9 - Bike ride tour of the Walls - Lucca - XIV Guinigi tower (roof top garden) and Church of San Frediano

​Day 10 - Back to Florence -  shopping at the Mercato Centrale, Visit Boboli Gardens - 1 night
The Boboli Gardens is a historical park of the city of Florence that was opened to the public in 1766. 
Originally designed for the Medici, it represents one of the first and most important examples of the "Italian Garden", which later served as inspiration for many European courts.

Day 11 - Flight back home

Going Abroad

Take in spectacular views across the coast of Italy exploring the rich history of Florence and the dazzling villages of Cinque Terre, and Lucca, Italy.  Rooted in tradition, Cinque Terre is a succession of five vibrant-colored fishing villages embedded in a series of sheer cliff faces and coves that date back to early medieval times.  From the iconic colosseum  to the Ligurian coast, each part of this magnificent trip will satisfy your urge to explore such a beautiful part of this country. Cooking classes, bike riding are some of the fun activities!​
Hiking between villages, iconic views, a pesto-making class, boat rides in the Mediterranean Sea, historical sites to be seen, this is only the beginning!

Activity Level 1: Easy. Travelers in good health with overall good mobility, and who are comfortable participating in at least three hours of activity per day; you may need to be fit as we are hiking a couple of 
hours, up hills, one day only (optional: choose to shop instead)
